It is part of the Cupertino Union School District that serves more than 17,000 students in a luxuriously various community representing 46 various languages in a 26-square mile territories. The schools in this district are weighed the best in the USA and this is one of the furthering points to high housing costs in the Cupertino area. The District is placed 10th level in high, middle and elementary schools statewide. Faria Elementary is placed the first level in the school district.
The Kennedy Middle School was founded in 1963, and at the beginning was known as Kennedy Junior High School. It was the first school that was named after President John F. Kennedy. Originally, the school had grades 7 and 8, but much later the 6th grade was attached in the second half of 1998 and in the fall of 1999 changed the name into Kennedy Middle School.
The teaching program is perfect and is famous for its high academic rankings. Kennedy’s Academic Performance Index was ranked as number one in their school district for the 2004-2005 school terms, and got 10th level out of one hundred schools in California.
